Bridget Magee continuously jumps in with both feet when it comes to writing and teaching and now her YouTube channel!
Bridget gets jumpy with excitement when one of her poems, personal essays or stories gets published in an anthology, magazine or an online publication. (It happens a lot - please see the "Where are My Words" tab.) Or when she posts a new poetry, story, or educational video.
Bridget jumps for joy when she is teaching kids, whether it be in person or via the internet with her ever growing video content library.

Utilizing her extensive 25+ years of experience as an elementary educator and former school librarian, Bridget has been know to dance a jazzy jig when a child she is working with grasps a new concept or when she completes a fun educational video.
As a language learner herself (German), Bridget has extraordinary compassion and insight that helps her teach English in a way that many native English speakers do not.
When not writing, teaching, or making videos Bridget hops, skips and jumps at the chance to publish videos, GIFs, Poetry Anthologies, Board Books, Picture Books, and EFL Resource Books.
Bridget finds that nothing is better for jump-starting her spirit than setting the intention to put light and love into the world in whatever form it takes.
In 2017, Bridget jumped on an opportunity to live in central Switzerland. As of January 2025 she can be found in Germany.
She lives with her husband, Joe, but unfortunately lost her jumpy dog, Smidgey. Thankfully, her two young adult daughters have their own jumpy dogs that Bridget loves.
