Bridget Magee's first love is writing. Especially writing and illustrating board books!

Of course, Bridget likes it when one of her poems, personal essays or stories gets published in an anthology, magazine or online. (It happens a lot - please see the "Where are My Words" tab.)

But she is in her happiest place when she is writing and illustrating board books for the youngest readers.

When not writing, Bridget also likes to try her hand at publishing.

Always learning and trying to improve, publishing has proved to be a fulfilling endeavor. 

Bridget finds that nothing is better than putting light and love into the world in the forms of children's books, poems, and videos.

With over 30 years of Elementary Education experience, including as an Elementary Librarian, Bridget has landed in front of many groups of young children and their parents from around the world.

She energetically shares her love of children's literature by demonstrating early literacy concepts and empowering parents to help their children grow and learn.
